My wife and I were walking on the American River last night and saw 4 C-130 tanker planes in the Air – two landing, two taking off to go to Big Sur. I thought to myself how much does this cost and why are these fires getting progressively worse?

Almost every week the local media has another story about an agency withdrawing or delaying thinning or clearing forests.

Why? The Sierra Club and their friends appeal any and every attempt to manage forests by anyone.

Every year the wildfires get worse – every year the Sierra Club continues to fight efforts to manage the forests while more and more acres of their vaunted forests burn.

How can soot and ashes in the air be good for the animals and trees they love?

Every year – Democrats covet the Sierra Club endorsement.

When forests burn, we inhale smoke – tourism is damaged, livelihoods and homes burn. This is the legacy of the Sierra Club and their Liberal Democrat endorsees.

All the while the little guy pays the taxes that fund firefighting. All the while the little guy breathes the smoke. All the while the little guy watches helplessly as raging wildfires close roads, stop business and destroy property.
